If you like Carl Hiaasen then you will most probably like Christopher Moore. He has a similar, if weaker vein to his writing and there parts, especially in Fluke, Or I Know Why The Winged Whale Sings that reminded me of Douglas Adams. I'm aiming to read some more from him but first I've got some other books borrowed from the library to get through.
