I'm Back To Get My Fix

I spent all last week round KT's whilst his van was unusuable, and was most disappointed when he managed to make his computer go screwy the very first morning! Even when I don't do the Vox Hunt and answer the QotD, I still like to look at them and to use the Neighbourhood button to see what is going on - I am a nosey curious old stick.

We dragged his pc to a local shop where the guy there said he'd had a bit of a rush on Packard Bell's dying recently, and KT crossed his fingers that his PB wouldn't join the queue of computers that needed a new hard drive. What appears to be the problem though, is that 1) his comp was so dusty the fan was unable to circulate air around the cooling fans and 2) some part or rather had some kind of surge and burnt out, totally unconnected to the fan/dust problem, but certainly not helped. I have to say, the amount of dust I blew off the back of his comp was amazing - you could have hidden in it's depths for days...

Any how, the computer guy is replacing the motherboard as it was fried and the power pack, so hopefully, KT gets his comp back today and can get mining and smithing and slaying again in Runescape - the pitiful way his eyes kept glancing where his tower used to be and the way his hands twitched, he needs help or his own fix.
