January Links - 5th
On January 5th, 1904, Lizzie Magie was granted a patent for a board game she'd invented to explain the concept of the Georgist Single Tax. It was called The Landlord's Game and showed how tenants could become impoverished whilst property owners could prosper.
That game was the seed of a game that has sold in many countries and in special editions that include sports, colleges, towns, tv shows, films and more.
