Why Mark Yourself As [This is Good]?
Exploring posts can find you a little gem. It can also bring you to realise just how freaky some people out there are, or make you wonder just how big headed they can be.
Following a link about some guy about having completed a project he was working on, I was astonished that he'd marked it as [This is good]. Looking through all his previous entries, he marked most of them in this way and every single one them had his name as a tag. Okay, so if you really want a co-worker, friend or family member to find you, that could be one way to do it, but to mark quite bland entries as good, was just ridiculous.
This isn't an isolated case - I have come across many Voxers who think that their entry is so brilliant that they mark it to try and get it on the front page. Stop it! If it's good, they will come ;oP

Posts that get marked as [this is good] or favourited are more likely to be shown on the homepage where other people are then likely to click and peek at what everyone seems to like.
Personally, I only ever mark posts on other people's blogs as good if I really like what they are showing or telling me or I will sometimes mark a comment on a blog as good if it is!
I think I have twice marked a comment on my blog as good, because the commentor has made a good point :o)
It's is quite funny how many people are vain enough to want to get people to flock to their blogs, but there will always be people in the world who crave that kind of attention - it's just sad that it means they will probably never get true kudos from anyone.
