World Record Selling Painting
Sue Tilley, now 51, was introduced to painter Lucian Freud some twelve years ago and he wanted to paint her in the nude. She wasn't sure, as she's a lady of some size but she got so relaxed whilst posing for him that she often fell asleep whilst postitioned. She's been interviewed a lot of the past few days and I love this woman - she's full of life and energy and she's rather modest about the portrait of her.
So how much did the portrait go for? £17.2m ($33.6m)
